Non-Skid Floor Decal

Floor Decal material known as Walk and Wall can be applied, removed, and reapplied. This material creates a non-slip surface that can be placed on carpeting, tile, metal, painted surfaces, wooden or PVC floors, and untreated stone. These floor decals are commonly used as social distancing signage, outdoor signage, and event signage. The walk and wall decal material has a moderate tack adhesive backing. The thin and textured surface creates a non-slip surface without the need for an overlaminate. This allows us to print directly to the textured surface and makes them durable enough for foot traffic. Floor decals have a variety of uses and can be used on a variety of surfaces.

Walk and wall is a semi-permanent material most commonly used indoors on non-carpet surfaces. They are perfect for social distancing signage in lobbies, retail centers, and grocery stores. They are also commonly used for promoting sales and directional signage. When used indoors on low pile carpet surfaces or outdoor textured surfaces this material is meant to be a temporary and short-term floor graphic commonly used at events such as tradeshows. Our non-skid decals that are used on outdoor surfaces such as buildings walls and sidewalks are perfect for events, festivals, races, campus tours, and directional signage. Our floor graphics are removable floor graphics but not reusable on carpet surfaces or outdoor surfaces. It may be repositioned depending on the surface they are applied to, the size of the print, and the length they have been applied previously.

The lifespan of floor graphics is based on the use of the material and the surface the decal is applied to. When used indoors on non-carpet surface floor graphics are designed to last 6-12 months in areas that have heavy traffic flow, or 3-5 years with little to no foot traffic. With proper care, they can be easily removed after a short period of time if need. Floor graphics are intended to be a one-time and semi-permanent temporary signage solution. When floor decals are placed on the carpet that is short, tightly woven, and minimal in texture are estimated to last 3-6 months. This is if the graphic is installed properly on a compatible carpet surface. Floor graphics used on sidewalks have an estimated life span of 1-3 months. When non-skid floor decals are used outdoors it is recommended to be placed in a location with direct sunlight to allow moisture does not gather underneath or around the decal. This material can withstand "rolling vehicle traffic" which means traffic that drives straight over the graphic but does not stop, turns, or grind directly on top of the decals.

We recommend before installation the surface be clean and properly dried. Floor decals will not work on areas that are wet, dirty, or stained with oil/chemicals.
